Wisdom Treatment offers a specialized alcohol recovery program at our facilities dedicated to military veterans who have been diagnosed with alcoholism and other co-occurring mental health disorders. Our treatment team and healthcare professionals understand the obstacles and difficulties in life, how they can lead to substance abuse, and the requirements for specialized treatment and unique recovery programs for those with a military background.
We use medications to help rid the body of toxins that cause painful withdrawal. Once you have completed detox, our board-certified psychiatrists will tailor a medication plan to help you during and after treatment.
An important benefit of our program is being surrounded by people that understand your experiences. It allows you to open up, feel understood and take the advice seriously. You should understand that you are not alone.
The family dynamic is an incredibly important aspect to recovery from drugs and alcohol - especially with veterans. Our family program specifically helps to mend any bonds that have been broken and restore the family unit.
